    • Lots of folks think Reno is near Las Vegas. It's not. 200 miles north and 100 miles west. We are in the foothills of the Sierra in a Great Basin leading into the desert. My back yard is the mountains and my front is the desert so to speak. We are just over 200K in population and unlike our sister city in the south we are a kicked back cowboy town. Only suits in town belong to lawyers and stupid folks who just moved here from California and haven't figured things out yet. We wear Wranglers not Levi's, and most stores sell western wear and not Muse's or Jos Bank.

      Anyway, the point is, if you want to sing here, this town would love you.
